Trio Sortilège

The Sortilège Trio is made up of Sylvain Bellegarde (vocals and guitar), Peter Coutouly (bass and choir) and Olivier Leclerc (violin and choir).

With music that is both festive and touching, this trio revives the memory of the greatest of Franco-Quebec song, from Félix Leclerc to Georges Brassens without forgetting the famous Quebec fiddler, Monsieur Pointu!

Since its creation in 2013, this trio has already won over a good number of spectators. Regularly invited by France-Quebec associations, the Trio Sortilège has participated in the following events: 400th anniversary of Quebec City in Saint Malo, Acadian Week Festival, Loire Festival in Orléans, guest of honor at the fair de Vire, Le Canapé in Gif-sur-Yvette then other cultural programs in the towns of Enghien-les-Bains, Bezons, Paris Summer Festival, Saint-Gratien, Georges Brassens Festival in Saint-Gély-du-Fesc ...

Sylvain Bellegarde

Singer

Sylvain Bellegarde studied at the University of Montreal and Laval University in Quebec. He studied singing and jazz with Michel Donato, Pierre Lessard, Gabriel Hamel, Madelaine Thérieault. Singer with the “Voice Messengers” ensemble with whom he appears on several albums: “Lumière d’Automne” nominated for “jazz record of the year” at the Victoires de la Musique. First prize in the “Jazz Academy” competition “Coup de Cœur” Jazz selection at FIP. Concerts at European jazz festivals and in Canada. Sylvain was part of the former ASMM teaching team until 2016.

Peter Coutouly

Peter Coutouly

Bass player

Guitarist, bassist, sound technician with around twenty years of experience on stage and in the studio, he performs in France, Europe, the USA and Mexico with several groups and numerous artists, notably with the group METANOYA.

Coming from a musical family, he started playing guitar at the age of 8 and continued his studies in sound and music.
